I work as a therapist in private practice offering Psychotherapy & Counselling. I also provide training and supervision nationally, supporting professionals in the helping professions.
I initially worked as a Registered General Nurse, in both hospital and the community with adults and children. I moved from nursing to the voluntary sector where, alongside my training and work as a Psychotherapist and Counsellor, I have managed a counselling charity and co ordinated a youth project for young women at risk of self harm.
Membership & Accreditation
I am a registered an accredited member of The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), one of the largest professional bodies for counsellors and psychotherapists. Accredited members have evidenced that they meet the required professional levels of clinical experience and have a sound theoretical and ethical base to their practice. I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework For The Counselling Professions and am committed to on going professional and personal development. I am registered with The BACP Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists
